UTRGV announces five-year agreement with Under Armour and BSN SPORTS

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday a new five-year partnership agreement with BSN SPORTS to make Under Armour the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Vaqueros.
 
Under Armour, a leader in performance footwear, apparel, and equipment, will provide UTRGV’s 16 sport programs with training gear for competition, practice and community appearances while also outfitting the coaches and athletic department staff.

Recently, Under Armour has made a significant impact during the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting hunger relief efforts, making masks to support healthcare professionals, and inspiring us with their new tagline, ‘the only way is through,'” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “We are proud to not only partner with Under Armour, but join an impressive group of NCAA Division I programs aligned with the Under Armour brand.
