Angelo State athletics and Head Coach Jeff Girsch have announced the 2021 football schedule for the upcoming season, featuring five games at 1st Community Credit Union Field at LaGrand Stadium.
The Rams begin the 2021 campaign on the road as they travel to St. Charles, Mo., for a matchup against Lindenwood on Thursday, Sept. 2. After that, Angelo State opens Lone Star Conference play at home as the Rams welcome in Midwestern State on Sept. 18.
In a Division II clash on the west coast, ASU will make its longest trip of the season to Ellensburg, Wash., as the Rams face the Central Washington Bobcats on Sept. 25.
The Rams will play three more conference games at home including Western New Mexico on Oct. 2, UT Permian Basin on Oct. 16, and Texas A&M – Commerce on Nov. 6 for the final home game.
ASU will also host one nonconference game next year, facing Simon Fraser on Oct. 23 for Homecoming.
The remainder of the LSC schedule will be on the road as the Rams travel for matchups against West Texas A&M on Oct. 9, Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 30, before ending the season at Texas A&M – Kingsville on Nov. 13.
